WMMR's Preston and Steve

Guardian Wear™, a local high quality performance athletic apparel company, is teaming up with WMMR’s Preston and Steve Show and its popular ‘Camp out for Hunger’ campaign.  Starting September 2nd and continuing through the first week of December, supporters can purchase a $15 Guardian Wear™ t-shirt and directly support Philabundance in feeding a child with a portion of ALL sales going directly to the charity.

According to Philabundance, an organization dedicated to the many children and adults who go hungry in the region, more than 900,000 individuals in the Delaware Valley face hunger. With the current state of the economy, more and more families find themselves in a situation without enough money to eat.

The campaign goal is to raise a half-million dollars for the organization. Supporters are encouraged to ‘wear out’ your t-shirt to spread the message – and efforts will be rewarded. Anyone spotted by a WMMR Army member, Bod Squad member or other employee will receive an entry to win the grand prize – a trip for two to Jamaica (click here for complete rules and regulations). Additionally, 200 recipients will receive a ‘Lucky Gold’ t-shirt, which automatically enters you into the grand prize drawing. This shirt will ship with instructions, which will give you more opportunities to win!
