G. Cobb Joins Guardian Wear Lineup
There is more to winning than having the highest score

When searching for the ‘face’ of Guardian Wear, we knew we needed an individual dedicated to improving the lives of young athletes and their communities. Once we met Garry “G” Cobb, we immediately recognized a winner.

G. Cobb is an NFL Star, radio and TV host, author, speaker and most important…a mentor. Garry’s goal to strengthen communities through the power of sports perfectly aligns with our mission. Together we will spread positive and inspirational messages to empower our youth with the overall theme - Character Counts.

Garry will serve as a shareholder and strategic partner in our new youth sports outreach program. Because sports participation is a key component in building character, Garry will travel to schools in the tri-state area on behalf of Guardian Wear to provide motivational speeches to youth athletes and present ‘Athlete of the Week’ awards. The program will culminate into a year-end banquet honoring the ‘G.Cobb/Guardian Wear Youth Athlete of the Year’ as well as all program participants.

Garry is a die-hard advocate for goal setting, chasing your dreams, taking personal responsibility and living a balanced life. His background includes:

• Linebacker in the National Football League
• Sports Radio 610-WIP host, sports anchor and reporter on CBS-3 television and football analyst for Comcast's CN8 television
• Author of “Don’t Be Clueless,” an inspiring book for teenagers and adults who are trying to find meaning in life and attempting to put together a game plan for their careers
